Description
Rehailitation of a dilapidated marine jetty by reconstruction of damaged deck and staircase concrete due to steel rust, replacement of worn out fenders. Application of protective epoxy treatment to concrete surfaces.
Construction of new steel pontoons and approach steel ladders.
Protection works by way of piling concrete sheet piles to a damaged section of sea wall.
Construction of sea wall 200meter long with foundation in coral boulders over which a concrete foundation 1.5m x 0.5m mass concrete. The sea wall is constructed in class A1concrete blocks with a 300mm grouted coral boulder behind the wall. and filter fabric behind the wall and clean sea sand is backfilled behind the wall. The top of the wall is provided with a pedestrian pavement and drainage provisions.
